Instructions to make to make Ahmed Abadi Pulao
- Boil meat with ginger,garlic and chilli paste.

- When half done,add salt and potatoes.

- When water dries up and meat is tender,remove from heat.

- Heat oil in another pan.

- Fry onions,cumin,peppercorns,cloves,cinnamon and cardamoms.

- Fry onions till light golden.

- When onions turn golden,keep it on an absorbent paper and leave to cool.

- Now crush onion very finely.

- Whisk yoghurt and add onion in it.


- Add this yoghurt,onion mixture in meat.

- Mix well and keep aside.
- Boil rice and keep aside.


- In a large skillet,layer rice and meat.

- Dilute food colour and saffron in 1/4 cup milk.

- Pour this on rice.

- Cover and cook on dum for 10-20 minutes.

- Serve hot with raita.
