  7. 1 tablespoon Fresh cream -
  8. 1 tablespoon Whole garam masala - (elachi, cloves, cinnamon)
  9. 1teaspoon Coriander cumin powder
  10. 1tablespoon Garam masala powder
  11. 1 teaspoon Chat masala -
  12. 1teaspoon Turmeric powder
  13. 1tablespoon Kashmiri mirch powder
  14. 2 Onion paste - big
  15. 2 Tomato paste medium
  16. 1tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  17. 1 Bay leaves
  18. 1 Green chili
  19. 1teaspoon Jeera -
  20. 4-5 tablespoon Ghee-
  21. 2 tablespoon Curd -
  22. 2 Chopped onions - big
  23. 2tablespoon Kesar milk-

Steps to make to make Shahi Handi Biryani

  1. First of all take a clay/mud handi.
  2. Heat, it n put 3 tablespoon of ghee, add bay leaves n whole garam masala into it.
  3. Then add ginger garlic paste, onion paste.
  4. Saute well n then take a bowl put Tomato paste. Add all the power masala into the paste.
  5. Mix it well n put the Tomato n masala paste into handi. Add salt to taste.
  6. Saute the masala, till it leaves oil. Then put cashew n melon paste, paneer, boiled corn n some boiled mix veggies.
  7. Mix it properly. Now add curd cook for a while. Handi paneer n veggies r ready. Add fresh cream.
  8. Then cook the basmati rice by adding jeera n green chili.
  9. Cook rice till it is 80 percent cooked, do not over boil.
  10. Now it's time to layer.
  11. Take the cooked paneer n vegetables out of handi
    Clean the handi properly.
  12. Now Grease the handi with ghee or oil
  13. Now it's time to layer.
    Put the layer of paneer veggies into the handi.
  14. Over it put a layer of rice. Now sprinkle the fried onions (chopped onion should be deep fried), kesar milk n 1/2 teaspoon of ghee over the rice.
  15. Repeat the layer with the same step. Now cover the handi n seal this with wheat dough.
  16. Keep it on slow flame for dum atleast for 10 mins
  17. After this swich off the flame, let it cool n then break the seal
  18. Handi briyani is ready to serve. Serve this with raita of your choice.
